I-Commerce Sdn Bhd was founded in 1997 as a subsidiary of KE Systems Sdn Bhd. Today we do one thing: keep Rocket Software UniVerse environments supported and current for financial institutions in Malaysia, Singapore, Hong Kong and Cambodia.

The company

I-Commerce Sdn Bhd (223791-W) is a Rocket Software reseller. We resell and support Rocket's MultiValue database products, with UniVerse at the centre, and we supply the software through our vendor, Meier Business Systems.

Our clients are regulated businesses whose core systems run on UniVerse. For them, support is not a help desk; it is an engineer who knows their environment, can diagnose on a call, and can take a confirmed product fault to Rocket Software and see it through. That is the service we have built the company around.

We stay focused on a single product line. That lets us keep the same engineers on an account across many version cycles, and know each client's environment rather than relearn it every call.

What we set out to do

Deliver expert maintenance and upgrade services for enterprise MultiValue database environments, so that the institutions running them can rely on their systems for as long as they choose to.

In practice that means three commitments: answer quickly, be honest about what a system needs, and never leave a client on an unsupported release without a plan.

KE Systems

Our parent company, KE Systems Sdn Bhd, was established in 1988 and has decades of experience in network consulting and system integration. I-Commerce was formed from within KE Systems in 1997, and the two companies continue to share leadership and engineering background.

Managing Director

Co-founded I-Commerce in 1997 and has led it since. Graduated from the National University of Malaysia (UKM) with a degree in Computer Science. Before I-Commerce he was Director of the Professional Services Organisation at KE Systems Sdn Bhd, with eight years in network consulting and system integration, and he continues to serve as Executive Director of KE Systems.

Active in the Malaysian ICT industry beyond the company: Chairman of PIKOM for the 2005–2006 term, after two terms as its Treasurer; IT Committee member of the Kuala Lumpur & Selangor Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and Adviser to Dewan Perniagaan Siber Malaysia. His industry leadership roles and association work are recorded on the History page.

Holds a degree in Computer Science from Asia Pacific University with a background in full-stack software development and AI engineering. Currently deepening expertise in MultiValue database environments and Rocket Software product support to strengthen I-Commerce's client delivery and long-term service capability.
